Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Help Hive (the “Service”), operated by Help Hive (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Help Hive lets you build an AI assistant grounded in your own content — crawled web pages, uploaded files, and spreadsheets — and publish it on a shareable, customizable page or embeddable widget. Answers are generated by third-party AI models based on the knowledge base you provide.

You must provide accurate information and are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use the Service.

Free Forever is available at no cost with the limits described on our pricing page (currently up to 3 uploaded files). Pro is a paid subscription (currently $10/month) that unlocks custom branding, a white-label custom domain, and a higher file limit. Enterprise is available by arrangement.

Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring monthly basis through our payment processor, Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on each renewal until you cancel. Prices may change with prior notice; changes take effect on your next billing cycle.

You can cancel anytime from your dashboard. Your Pro features remain active until the end of the current billing period, after which your account reverts to Free Forever. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable and we do not provide prorated refunds for partial billing periods.

You retain ownership of the content you add to your knowledge base and the content your assistant displays. You represent that you have the rights to use that content and that it does not infringe others’ rights or violate any law. You are responsible for what your assistant publishes and for complying with applicable laws (including privacy and consumer-protection laws) toward people who interact with it.

You grant us a limited license to store, process, and transmit your content solely to operate and provide the Service (including sending relevant excerpts to our AI provider to generate answers).

You agree not to use the Service to:

• upload unlawful, infringing, or harmful content;
• attempt to breach security, access other tenants’ data, or disrupt the Service;
• crawl or ingest content you do not have the right to use;
• resell or abuse the Service, or exceed reasonable usage limits.

Assistant responses are generated by artificial intelligence based on your knowledge base and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date. They are not professional, legal, medical, or financial advice. You are responsible for reviewing your knowledge base and for the answers your assistant provides to your audience.

The Service relies on third parties including OpenAI (AI models), Supabase (database, authentication, and storage), Stripe (payments), Vercel (hosting), and Resend (email). Your use of the Service is also subject to their terms, and we are not responsible for their acts or omissions.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI answers will be accurate.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Help Hive will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or use the Service in a way that risks harm to us or others. On termination, your right to use the Service ends and we may delete your data as described in our Privacy Policy.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Hawaii, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that the state and federal courts located in Honolulu, Hawaii will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
